In 2014 Challenge Fencing will have been trading for 70 years. The business was started in 1944 by James Impy after he was demobbed from the Royal Sussex regiment after the end of the war. It was based at the Forge in Downside, Cobham. In1969 Edwin Nutbeam & his three sons took on the business & improved it to a large fencing contracting installer covering London & Surrey.
