Intact Award Success

On 3rd February Intact software won the regional Business Excellence award at a gala dinner in Dundalk.

Against a final group of eight other companies with eminent success records, a specially commissioned trophy was awarded to Paul Marry and Aidan Lawless by the Chief Executive of Enterprise Ireland.

A fitting tribute for the development and support of such outstanding software over the last fifteen years.

Additional Training for Intact and Microsoft Office

In our last newsletter, we talked of customer training over and above the initial start up instructions that we give to our customers.

During the next few weeks we will be advising you of the available courses with dates and prices. We are keen to help all our customers to maximise their use of the outstanding features and modules in Intact, and to help non I.T. literate staff to be able to use industry standard software which both integrates to Intact and stands alone.

Customer Relationship Management (CRM)

Both customers and prospects are excited about further developments that have happened in the fully integrated Intact Customer Relationship Management module.

Amongst others, the system now selectively stores incoming customer e-mails and is being enhanced with automatic directors' prompts to ensure attention is given to important
company movements both good and bad.

The CRM helps dramatically in three areas:- Sales, Marketing and Customer Service; in the last of these, so many companies lose up to 50% of their customers because of ‘perceived indifference'; in other words, they think you don't care, the CRM can help eliminate this with little or no extra effort.

After all it costs ten times as much to generate a new customer as to keep an old one!

From a Marketing/Sales point of view, the CRM can be used together with postcodes, dialling codes area or town names to enable targeted mail/fax/e-mail campaigns at minimal effort.

The CRM runs in conjunction with TASK MANAGER so that you can bring forward screen prompts and reminders for yourself and other people.

Order Book Bathrooms and Plumbing and Heating

Of our recent orders, over 30% have been in the plumbing trade, where images of products on quotations are a very attractive feature.

A satisfied and competent user is Ebberns Bathroom Showroom - Plumbing and Heating Centre in Apsley (Hemel Hempstead) close to our Berkhamsted offices. Tony Barber and Lynn Watt have been live since July last and run an 18 user system from their highly prestigious showrooms.

‘The Intact system is brilliant, with many business enhancing features' says Tony the Managing Director ‘and we plan to develop our use of all features dramatically over the next year with help from Ramtac.'

  • Manchester Furniture Show - 15th/16th/17th/18th July, G Mex Centre, Manchester

All with a view to raising the profile of the outstanding Accounting and Business Management software in the Wholesale, Distribution, Merchant sector.
